Basel II Risk Management Standards
The objective of this project was to assist Credo Bank in implementing Basel II Risk Management Standards in accordance with Georgian National Bank requirements. At the initial stage, a diagnostic of the banks’ risk management systems was conducted. Based on the diagnostic, a document that outlined the discrepancies between the existing system and the Basel II requirements was developed, which served as a basis for the development of new and appropriate financial, market and operational risk management systems.
Credo was founded in December 2007 and was the leading micro finance institution with 59 branches in Georgia. In 2016 Credo was transformed into a banking institution. CREDO actively supports the development of Georgia’s agriculture sector.
