Commercial and Financial Due Diligence
PMO conducted a detailed commercial and financial due diligence of Wissol Group on behalf of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. The objective of this was to understand the Georgian petrol and CNG markets and identify value chains, demand drivers, competition, prices, profitability and the company’s strategy, financial situation and SWOT analysis. Based on this analysis, EBRD provided a significant long term loan to Wissol Group.
Wissol Group is one of largest business groups in Georgia and is the only Georgian brand that was enlisted in the Top Ten European brands at the European Business Awards in Paris. It operates in multiple sectors including oil and gas, food retail and HORECA.
