Enhance Organizational Efficiency through Business Process Optimization
The objective of this project was to increase organizational efficiency through optimization of business processes. At the first stage of the project PMO identified core business processes of various units, such as Retail Sales, Corporate Sales, Wholesale, Operations and Logistics, Procurement, Service Quality Management and other.
Afterwards, PMO mapped AS-IS processes, analyzed them and drew process optimization recommendations together with decision makers from various divisions. Based on the recommendations, the optimized business processes were developed.
After developing the optimized business processes, amendments to staff functions and division structures were made.
Socar is a multinational company, which operates in six countries. Socar Georgia Petroleum entered the Georgian market in 2006 and currently is one of the largest contributors to the state budget of Georgia.
