Regulatory Impact Assessment for Support Schemes for Renewable Energy Activity
The “Regulatory Impact Assessment for Support Schemes for Renewable Energy” project was prepared within the framework of USAID’s energy program. The objective of the project was to identify need-based support mechanisms for stimulating the development of variable renewable energy resources in Georgia and provide evaluation on the potential impact of their implementation. PMO identified appropriate support mechanisms, designed different implementation options, and evaluated the impact of possible policy interventions. The results of the document will serve the GoG in elaborating and implementing cost efficient support schemes for renewable energy projects.
