Support to Establish a Business Support Service Facility for Small and medium-sized enterprise Wineries in Georgia
The purpose of the assignment was to identify the business support packages that the facility should offer and recommend how these can be optimized for the needs of SME wineries. This will include an analysis of the key constraints to business growth, which types of business support services are required, and the efficacy of services currently available to SME wineries in rural Georgia.
Objectives of the assignments were the following:
• A demand-side analysis of the needs of SME wineries to grow and develop their businesses and their experience in accessing required business support services.
• A supply-side analysis of the key types of business support services available for rural SME wineries, an analysis of their relative efficacy, and recommendations for how they can be improved.
• Recommendations for the overall service delivery model for the Facility to enable SME wineries to access the recommended business support services.
